If you’re reading this newsletter, odds are high that you’re emotionally, spiritually, and perhaps physically exhausted. If you haven’t lost everything, you certainly know someone who has. We know you’re tired. But please don’t give up, LA. Now’s the time to get busy. Fundraise. Volunteer. Dig out those canned goods from the back of your pantry. Our community needs clothing, hygiene kits, blankets, and more essential supplies.
We rounded up a list of donation drop-off centers around LA and Orange County that need your contributions!

IN THE FUTURE
🏡 Stay Indoors, Stay Off The Roads
A poor air quality advisory is still in effect for much of LA County.
If you can, stay home and indoors as much as possible. Track the regional Air Quality Index (AQI) using AirNow.Gov or the IQAir App. If you must go outside, wear a mask (ideally N95). First responders and those who need to evacuate need to move across town as quickly as possible, so stay off the roads if you can.
💧 Conserve Water
The LAFD is relying on our urban water supply to help extinguish these fires.
A 48-hour water boil advisory has been put in place for the Pacific Palisades and Malibu by the LADWP. Pasadena Water & Power Department has also issued a "Do-Not-Drink Water Notification" as of 1/8.
