Our hearts go out to every single Angeleno who has been displaced by the horrific Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst wildfires ravaging LA County. On behalf of all of us at DoLA, thank you to our LA Fire Department, the LA Department of Water & Power, CAL FIRE, first responders, and all of the brave individuals helping to address the crisis.

We pulled together as many useful resources as possible for those needing assistance:

Dial 2-1-1 for community services and disaster-related assistance.

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, dial 9-1-1.

In the event of power outages, call 1-800-DIAL-DWP (1-800-342-5397)

🏡 Stay Indoors, Stay Off The Roads

A poor air quality advisory is in effect for much of LA County.

If you can, stay home and indoors as much as possible. Track the regional Air Quality Index (AQI) using AirNow.Gov or the IQAir App. If you must go outside, wear a mask (ideally N95). First responders and those who need to evacuate need to move across town as quickly as possible, so stay off the roads if you can.

📣 Stay Informed

And pack an emergency bag in case you need to evacuate.

Sign up for alerts from the LA Fire Department. Download the Watch Duty app for real-time evacuation alerts and a map of evacuation sites.

🤲 Donate If You’re Able

Every dollar counts! Every donation makes a difference!

Here are some nonprofits that need your support:

😿 Support Local Animal Shelters

Pasadena Humane, LA Equestrian Center, Agoura Animal Care Center, and more shelters need your help!

Many animal shelters around the city are taking in displaced animals and pets for emergency boarding. They need volunteers to provide supplies, as well as foster animals (especially large dogs).

Stay safe, LA. We will get through this.
